CORE VALUES

Spatial Equality as Human Right

By undertaking architectural and urban planning projects, our association actively champions the advancement of human rights and strives to mitigate social and spatial disparities in disadvantaged communities worldwide. Our overarching goal is to foster sustainable development in challenging urban and rural environments, employing ethically sound, socially inclusive, and ecologically responsible strategies.

EQUATORE complies with the Universal Charter of Human Rights, particularly art. 25.1, the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights of 1966 and revised in 1976, art. 11.1 and the joint document with the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights of 1991: "The Right to Adequate Housing". The association bases its work on the sustainable development goal of Agenda 2030 11: 'Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, durable and sustainable'.
